Get two 12" type-r's and run 400 rms to both of them. In that car, it will be hella loud, the sound bounces right off your back window.

THe box will have to be sealed, of course.

You can fit a 15 in the hatch dude. Don't cut yourself off from a 15 if you're going with a single speaker.

i was GOING to say nate munsons DD9510 in the little VW that did 169.8db on 30kw or whatever it was. but thats a bit pricey.

Unless you intend to compete in a sq class, its really a relative opinion. Until you have a trained ear for whats considered sq in sanctioned mobile audio events, its really what sounds good to you.

What type of music are you going to listen to most? SQ in a driver depends a lot on what frequencies you enjoy most in your musical tastes. When you get into drivers that have excellent sq through out the low pass spectrum, the price is going to go up. The trick is finding a driver that will satisfy your listening taste without spending a fortune.
