the best amp... for a highschooler

ill measure an take pics when i get home. but from what i think... i have about a foot at max.
i think i no some people that can.. if not theres a first time for everything.
ya making your own box is a great feeling. I used to have mine made for me but didnt wanna keep spending money on that. plus its usually no more than $30 to make the box yourself. You could make a ported box and tune it to about 35hz or so. there are some box plans in the enclosure part of this forum. so what is your budget on the amp, and woofers?

lol I've got a rickety old table saw, but it gets the job done.
This one has a fence that's on a track, ensures the fence is parallel to the blade for straight cuts. On my older table saw, the fence moves when I would clamp it down. Plus this one has 24" of rip capacity.

get a gen xx-colossus and 2 10" MTs, that's a solid high school setup
yeah...but I think he only has like $700. And after buying that highly reccomended table saw ( //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif ) only a few hundred left.

PU a RE sub from someone here or new. If you want it to be loud then go with them. I had 2 10" JLw3v2 powered by a JL500/1, switched to a RE SExxx with the same amp. HUGE difference, RE sounded cleaner, louder and bass hit deeper. With 700, I'd say drop 200 for a RE sub, 200-250 on an amp, someone here will have someting powerful enough, build your own box, decent set of comps, alpine 4 channel for you mids and highs. You could also spend what you have now and save more money later for mids and highs, then put it all in at once.

oh and 95% of people on this forum who will reccomend Fi anything are talking out of their *** as onyl a select few on this forum (6-7 people) have actually run Fi. Im not saying it is bad (it is looking good) but I'm just letting you know.
