Ok I never heard a w7 b4 but from what everybody makes them out to be on the forum u would think there the worlds greatest all around sub. But i Stumbled along this review and u can tell this guy knows what he is talking about, and he tests it with like 5 amps and well ... just read it:

So from people who have experience with these subs and many others to compare it to, are these guy's reviews accurate???

Thats only 2 guys reviews. You will always have negative remarks about every sub on the market. The w7 still is a well respected woofer, and is car audios reference subwoofer. To me it sounds great, but to others it may sound horrible. If your considering buying one, then go take a listen to it, hell you may love it. I see no problem with it, and I think these guys here took it a bit to the extreme. Its funny how they complain about the price of it, but they go buy it, and test it. If its so expensive, then dont buy the dang thing. Dont base your thoughts of buying soley on reviews, go take a listen to it for yourself.

Thats even worse. He gets it for 240 bucs, and complains about it. I doubt he installed a single car right.

because the character of PPI [amp's] watts- they've always been known for being punchier and livelier

Even though ultimately, again, distortion got the best of the W7 at super high volume [Clipping anyone?]

This is a nice sub- strictly for those who compete and make money and trophies by making more DB's

I don't know how creadible this guys opinion is.

The line has essentially remained the same- an 8, 10, 12 and 13 inch woofer are offered and I'm reviewing the 13 because by the obvious laws of physics, it plays the lowest and happens to be my favorite woofer in this line

If everyone here could get them for 240 bucks then 80% of the people here would own them.

Not sure which size he was talking about but if he was talking about the 13W7 JL wouldn't be able to keep up with the demand at that price.

As far as the sub I think the W7 is an amazing sub but I also know that thier other products out there that are just as good or better and maybe cheaper.

Just skimmed it; but what I got out of it was that the guys were idiots and didn't know how to properly setup a stereo.

I wouldn't promptly dispose of any info you acquired from those "reviews"
