not sure if i saw a nipple thingy. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/confused.gif.e820e0216602db4765798ac39d28caa9.gifThere's the EQ, and the media expander thingy.
Mine hasn't skipped once since I've owned it (over a year) but then again 95% of the time I use it, I'm using my iPod.
Regardless, more than likely the unit isn't secured very well in the dash.
That little rubber nipple thing that they send with it, does serve a purpose.
Where did you buy it?i'm pissed the **** off right now. I knew it was fishy when i opened my package and noticed that the wiring harness and all the rest of the accessories were used.
When you send something back for warranty, you're supposed to get a whole new item right? Well **** no, i paid the money to ship it to them after they agreed to send me a new head unit and instead of sending me something new, i got the same exact thing i sent to them This is ****ed up and i'm pretty sure it is a scam. They could have at least let me know what they were doing instead of shipping me back the same thing. Plus, there is no excuse. They should have sent me a brand new ****ing unit under warranty anyways. ****!
i paid $290 for mine. And i just realized that indoaudio is a scam site.Hell, your lucky you got any type of response out of them. You mentioned this being a $350 deck in an earlier post...did you pay $350 online? Most of what you buy at these shady online places is either open box or refurbed (not to say that all online sellers do this...but a lot of them do). Try calling alpine...LOL!
