**The 22 Hour Fiberglass door pods**

Well, this originally started as a kid i go to school with wanting something to do, i mention building some speaker pods, and soon enough we've started. We started this project at 6 one friday evening, and finished up at 4 Saturday afternoon, with no sleep in between (fiberglass fumes can keep you awake for long periods of time. haha). I'll let the pictures do the explaining. Any question, just ask.

Yep.. I'll try to get some pics of it in about a week. I'm back home from college for thanksgiving break and this kid went home too, so i'll get pics when we go back to school.

A grill won't fix the fact that they're coax's. Why would you spend all that time doing door pods and put shitty coax's in there. Put in some components. You owe it to yourself after making pods. Putting a full 22 hours into making door pods and then putting in coax's is kind of taking a step backwards there.

He's switching out the 6.5's with the Pioneer 6.5's that match the 5.25's in the doors now (the 5.25's didn't come with grills).. And not my truck, not my style, not my choice.. Got paid for them, so i really didn't care what he decided to put in them..

best way to look at it....you still got those pods in that ranger? Im thinking about redoing mine and puttin a pair in each panel with 2 tweets in each pillar.

i have the same setup in my car, as in my factory grilles come off the plastic door panel and the speaker is mounted to the panel. its a terrible design for sound but good for access. I may try this to make pods for my car like this but idk if i want to lose the stock look.
