The 160s TB (continued)

Many of you people will very well remember this truck as to Ryan (Boilermaker 774) sold it to me last year due to financial complications. Im currently finishing it off for myself and shes going to scream. Ill post pics so that I can refresh your memory as to what it looked like. I had major problems with the baffle as soon as I threw a few watts on it and it was ripping apart. So I had to sacrifice some of the cosmetics for strength and she is rock solid now and I can move to paint.

So anyways this is the long awaited build log continued.

20" RVMs, cant do too much since I live in Iowa and winters blow. This is my only driver. Its also rear wheel drive now since its bagged and the front shockwaves had to be taken out to clear the oil pan.

Pics of the enclosure fully built. Designer and builder was Adam Stemen out of Ohio, great guy and amazing glasser.

And this is where the baffle issues were being adressed. Terrible cracking along the seams and made the baffle move a half an inch when playing. So those had to be reinforced with angle iron, glass, and all thread to keep it from happening.

Best score it did on (2) SD 16ks @ 2 ohm each clamping 9400 watts clean each, on (5) 16v batts at 3/4 clipping volume before the windshield exploded //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif

NICE! //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/cool.gif.3bcaf8f141236c00f8044d07150e34f7.gif Can't wait to see what you are going to do with this now

Still the same level 5s... when I bought it the truck had no equipment in it, just the subs and wall. I fixed the problems with the wall and threw in the batts, wire and amp and also finished off the back.

Wowwww amazing build. Truck is beautiful. Wow. All I can say. I am so impressed. I love it bro. Outside and inside are nasty.

Thank you, still tons of work to be done, and lots of glassing left but she will get there. Not sure if Ill be competing yet this year or not, depends on the amp situation. If not Ill come out swinging a few MidWest SPL records hopefully next season.
