Manny, He just brough up a good point. How well are these broken in when you did your listening?
The lows should significantly improve once the suspnesion is fully broken in. Maybe a time for a trip to the wall with a dimmer switch.

Wire the D1's in series to 4ohm, get a dimmer switch, plug them up and turn the dimmer up untill you feel you are stressing the drivers. Let them sit there for a few and then put them back in.

Unless they are already broken in, in which case I dont know what to tell you.

First set were borken in alot...those things are **** loose now. Second pair Scott started to break them in a little before he sent them out, they came to me and I could tell they still needed some breaking in, so I gave it to them. A little improvement in the lower end, but not much.

We will see with the new box, with more port and same results then I will be POSITIVE on what this driver likes.

But seriously with 6 15's in a blowthrough...the low's have got to be there, only problem is if I'm goin to be able to fit 350sqin. or port.

anyone who has a Q 15 or 18 can you rate the sq from 1 to 10(10=best) and say what kind of box it it. and to be clear by sq im not talking about low end im talking about the accuracy and how good it sounds to your ears

These are very accurate, and sound great with all types of music. They hit hard but detailed, nice driver for sure. But you know how things are goin with this current setup.

Yessir. The windshield on the caprice flexes quite nicely.
