so when he runs the sweep,and its done he shows me the results and i look at the peak and try to use that as close as possible. Do i get some sort of proof on my results like a certificate,or do i have to take a picture

just be there on time and watch, it won't take long to pick up how it all works

cool,i just retuned my amp ,cause i want to make sure everything is perfect, What i dont like is on my Alpine headunit it wont give the sub full output unless you have the bass on 10(the highest) the sub on 15(the highest). i can see how it does not look like a prob to u but to me , my front speakers gets distorted with bass(bottoming out) so i think i am goin to add a 7db bass boost to compensait for the bass loss in the front.

I ran a sweep today, and it sounds like my best tone is the 43hz one. it was unbelievably loud to me.

How do SQ competions are judged? Im assuming sound quality(d'uh) but how do they go about judging them are there a bunch of judges that examine your "true" system and listen to it and then decide. while me i just want to see how loud my sub gets(im guessing i should enter SPL)?
