I'm sorry I'm such a newb! lol
If you guys had to pick one of the set-ups I posted, which would you choose? And how would you build it upon the base template in my first post?
I have about 9" of depth in the wheel well to work with (if I make a 2" hole in the center for a provision for the old tie down support).

found an interesting install on ED's website. Any idea of what kind of metal supports they might be using? If I could stagger them and use similar supports we might have a winner!
