Tell me what the F*ck to buy so I can place my order already lol

The idea that any particular sub/speaker "needs" X power to work correctly is not true. Typically if you feel that you need more power A.) You wanted more then what your setup can provide or B.) Your enclosure and/or settings are creating an issue with the amount of output generated.

Now, does this mean that you can achieve maximum potential from your sub/speaker with 1/3 of the rms rating? Not likely, but it will perform very well and allow you the ability for upgrading the future. Just ensure the design of the enclosure is geared toward efficiency. The down side here, is that if you apply more power down the road the need for a new enclosure may arise as enclosures designed around efficiency do not like to have large amounts of power ran through them do to several various factors.
Well now I'm very curious because the Fi Sp4 is what I really want lol. How much larger would the box have to be?
Have you considered getting 2 American Bass XFL 12"? They are rated at 1000rms but can do 2k each daily.

@mylows10 can take care of you with those subs
@double 07 can build you an awesome box for your specs and give you the best sound out of your subs.
Nothing against american bass, but for some reason I just don't like there subs lol thanks though for the idea
I heard there other subs were bad, but you obviously have never heard the XFLs... there's a reason they dont sell on amazon and you have to know people to get them:)
If you're in Redding, take a little trip up north and go visit @mylows10 ; I'm sure he'll demo his XFL 8s for you and you can see how the myth of a small sub not having output can finally be put to rest. I'm an SQ guy and have no reservations recommending the XFLs

And all I have to say about south vs north is this:

California. Public. Schools. Seriously. Geography homework was coloring a map.
