Guess I'm still a tad wet behind the ears on this subject. Could you direct me to technical reading that may help me understand the mechanics of properly housing the driver in the correct alignment?

They used to have one on their site of a type S box.Doesn't look like anything special to me.Just doesn't look like there would be any cold spots in the box.

not every box even has a corner angle in it... some boxes have different size angles... it varies by woofer and application.
