TC sounds selling used motors...cheap

3hp was on the ti, la storm, and TONS more woofers! a newer version was on the tc3000. lmt motor was on the soundsplinter rls, and lms 4000...
on another note- 5-6 of my tc9 motors came drilled for quickchange.. didnt know they had those:)

yeah.. i kinda know.. my order has arrived already tardo:)
1) what kinda power rating are the 3hp subs? i know its just a motor, but im sure the subs have a somewhat common wattage rating. 2kwrms? 1kwrms?

2) what kinda power rating are the LMT subs? i know its just a motor, but im sure the subs have a somewhat common wattage rating. 2kwrms? 1kwrms?

did a little bit of research and it seems FI can recone the tc9's and the 3hp motors. im assuming to get a lmt working i would need to get a recone from sound splinter, or Tc exclusivly? anyone know off hand how much a basket and recone is from tc?

will depend on the coil and soft parts i am sure:) most with custom 3hp's seem to recommend 1kw-1500 watts or so.

as far as the lmt's.. they have an extremely large gap.. i dont know how well an fi coil will work.. recone from tc is $$$$

oh yea most definalty its dependent on the coil etc. however what i was looking for was exactly what you said. if most people recommend 1500 to one, with a common recone that they use, then i can kinda start to price things out for myself //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

I like tc9 subs generally. Can get decently loud. Can sound good. Depends on the parts used.

I got 2 from this and had 1 already. All 3 are sitting next to my pile of parts and my other subs

I was able to log in fine, using Chrome if that helps. I don't know anything about the product at all, just found the info and shared the love. :)

Brother in law has some of their 8’s and they are little beasts. Typical cookie cutter product that performs as it should.

Off the shelf design, nothing special and will sound like a bull horn. The best pro audio drivers I’ve heard are the crossfire XTpro6’s. The best...
