I've been on the hunt for an rli-8, but the search is looking bad so far. I've been told the epic 8 is very similar to the rli, is this true?

Epic 8 and rli8 are the same both use a tc2+ motor

what kind of box is recommended for the epic 8's? Im about to pull the trigger on one.

id build one to around .6 cubes ported tuned to around 34.... but what sort of power do u have on hand?

Soundsplinter has a few Orphan 8's left and they are going for $89. They are similar to the RL-i 8, except the coil is an SVC6, different cone and there is no shorting ring.

ive already talked to mike @ soundsplinter, the orphan 8's won't work, i have a diamond audio d3 600.1 for power supply. The epic 8 should run good off this amp right? I was thinking somewhere around .8 ported, but im glad i asked, these things love small boxes. Which is great because it's going under the seat of my 03 silverado.
