This seems to be the best bang for your buck sub i have ever seen. Looks to be build solid as hell and I am feelin the cone.

Too bad the 10" didn't come with the aluminum cone.

Well let me put it like this, I have 2 12" tc2+ which came before the 1000's and I talked to heather at tc sounds, and she said the db500's are almost identical to the tc2+, all specs are very similar. I'm very very happy with my subs. This actually happened today, I pulling in to the parking lot of my job after lunch, and came upstairs. one of the adjusters asked me if I just came back from lunch, I said yeah, she asked was that you bassing? They were debating if it was a helicopter or bass. mind you this is the 4th floor of an office building, and I parked in the back of the parking lot. I have 2 at 450 wrms a piece. Now they dont just get loud, they sound excellent, there more SQ that SPL. You will dont be disappointed especially for the price

Bass seems to travel up in those type of buildings.

I remember when I was 16, I had 2 12 xtants and a jl500 amp. Was waiting for my buddy bumpin in his garage downstairs, then a lady came down and said I shook all her pictures of the wall and she was up on the 5th floor, lol.

LOL, I like that look of an aluminum cone. I love bare metal, i dunno just my taste i guess but i think i will get a couple in the near future, but my plans are always changing so don't expect me to get one real soon.

I am personally glad that they are more SQ. The more I learn about car audio in general, the more I see that anyone can be "loud". It takes a real brain for it to sound good, not just loud. This is probably the cheapest sub I have ever seen with the tinsel leads woven to the spider. for some reason, it gives me a sense of "not cutting corners" with their products (not that i had any doubt)

Yeah, when you have a real good SQ sub, your vehicle even seems to rattle less b/c of less distortion causing less resonanace. I didn't even get a chance to deaden my trunk yet, but everyone asks me if I did. I've had an ed 15kv.2 in there before, and my trunk would rattle like crazy. Now the kv.2 was good SQ, before it blew, but no where near TC sounds products. My brother has the new tc-2000 15", and I mean it gets really really loud, but at the same time, has very little distortion. After 4 years of dealing with ED and that crap, I finally saw the light lol, and I would never go back, even if they were giving them away

basket is a little thin, but other than that it sounds great.

ive been trying to decide between either the db500s or massive rws

both will be in a Team Toxic Bass box
