Have you heard a 5200 sealed and a 5200 ported?

Don't think just cuz the paper says not to do it, you shouldn't.

agree that he has wiring issues.

I have mine in a 4.5 cf ported enclosure, 50 sq in of port @ 35hz with a single IA40.1 on a 16V system (16-18.3V), it is so loud I wouldn't think of installing a second! Here is the new box for it, can't wait to get it in (Fisher box). In the middle of finishing it, will be in black Herculiner.. Polo..

well lets get back to helping this guy and not bragging about our systems. What size box do you have it in? if you want more output going ported is a good idea. Im not saying it cant be sealed, but a ported box would help a lot. There are plenty of box builders on this site that can help you out if you ask...

yea i have fixed the wiring problem the one wire got caught when i was trying to live this heavy beast in the box! and it pulled out

so i fixed it

i had these quake amps and local shop owner is a friend of mine i took them back today looking to get more power since the amps were the cheaper tnt series and i dont think they did more than 1000 watts realy lol.

so i just got 2 of the us amps 4000's i know there not a great amp but he didnt have anything realy that was worth a **** that would help me out realy.

so i am trying these on it now thos quakes werent 1ohm stabel so it sucked i had to stay at like 3ohm these amps are 1ohm stable so i am off to try these out.

Thanks, naaaa it is a fresh box from Fisher. I got it this summer but haven't had time to finish it. I am 36 and have had a lot of subs, I think I have met my match, really like this sub and amp combo. Here is the box it is in, just pulled the Treo and dropper her in but the box isn't holding up so I have to hurry and get the new one finished... Polo.

im 23, and i will bet ive owned more the 5200 is a **** nice woofer so far, its been my favorite.. even eclipsing the lms5400's i had
