TC oem 10 takes a dump...

how is it that we can find glue at walmart that'll work perfectly fine for fixing it....yet TC can't even use strong enough glue from the start...........

happened to mine too. sent it back now they are sending me one with an aluminum cone.. seems like a common problem on these subs.

sorry to hear that and as far as "why tc cant use the good glue from the start", etc.. im guessing that the cones sat a few years (just a guess) so the glue may have weakened...

I had a "one of" sub from somewhere around 2002 with that cone and surround combo. I got it from Ponte when he was still there, big ol' underhung driver. I sold that one to a guy and he still has it, FYI, with no glue failure. He e-mailed me recently to get T/S specs. Maybe this was a bad batch?

When you deal with TC and you have a problem, the answer always seems to come up as "it must of been a bad batch". Only thing is, it happens all the time.

i'd let you in on some secrets why, but then this thread would be buhleeeted.

the surround broke form the cone about 1 1/2 in long...

pics up as soon as i take her out.. and the repair or.. etc

any other tc oem 10 problems? besides this i love this sub

same thing happened in 2 spots on the sub in my sig
