i love my tc oem 10 but its not holding up - Due to heat in Florida. even though it was nighttime and i garage or cover my truck every night.

took your guys advice.. ripped the rest of it off which came off like butter and my old goop spot still holds strong. and now i goop'd the hell out of it.

contact tc like i did, they initally gave me the glue kit for free, then that didn't turn out too well, they sent me an upgrade for $30. went from a 12tc2+ to a 15tc1000 for $30

this is only an issue with the 10" OEM correct? the 12" OEM had a different cone and doesnt have this issue does it? i am thinking about buying one so it would be nice to know:)

well i've heard some others have had a problem. I'm in the same position now with them, and i've heard others on here who have had similar problems of the surround seperating from the cone. Apparently from the glue there using

well hmm, I am in negotiations to pick up a brand new OEM 12", but the last thing I want is to deal with this issue, I want a reliable sub I can use for years
Well my brother has a tc2000 and hasn't had any problems, so you may be fine. well if it does happen, they may fix it for you free of charge if its seems to be a latent defect

im pretty sure its based off the glue their using.. and i think it happens when your car sits in the sun and it gets too hot and loosens the glue then slowly comes apart from use(excusion)
