tc 2000 or aq hd3

im going to be getting my new sub in about jan and am doing alot of research. i want basicailly spl. i have narowwed it down to the hd315 and the tc 2000. both would be 15 one 15 in about 4 cubes ported. and powered by hifonics 2006 with a stock electical system so it should be pushing around 1700 i hope. witch two would match up better?

well, it depends on what he is looking for. I myself have heard the TC-3000 in person, and it is a very musical driver, that can get pretty loud. Im pretty sure that the HD3 would beat it in pure SPL, but the TC-3000 has a very nice mix of both. I don't agree at all with that, but in this case the AQ will most certainly get louder, and in the right box, it'll probably sound as good if not better....

...So yea, go with the AQ.....

yeah, let me rephrase that......i had a completely worthless and disappointment ridden experience with TC so go with the AQ

anything thats worth much from TC is the motors. TC2000= TC9 motor.....capable of getting loud, but doesn't allow for a very long throw. It is a solid motor though, with a good amount of output if used right. I am using one right now actually.

Out of those two subs AQ, ut like said above a 3000 would be more comparable. i like how mine sounds, gets real low and loud. would like to try a HD3 someday.
