tc-10 oem GOOODDDNEESSS!!!

I agree, I was originally going with a TC-2000 15" but I was interested in really surprising people with a one 10" sub setup. So far from some of the reviews I've read it shouldn't let down.

I too am using .6 cu box sealed, but with a kicker zx750, wish I had a 1000 //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gifIts in my camaro stealth box and it sounds soo freakin sweet. Ill prob take some vids this week ;-)
you fit that in a stealth box //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/eek.gif.771b7a90cf45cabdc554ff1121c21c4a.gif did you have to invert it??

Yep it fit. The only thing I changed was that I added a 3/4" ring behind the sub screws to double baffle the front. displacment for the box was .6 even after the sub it seems to be a great match. Hits surprisingly low!

OK so I finally had a chance to send it some power. I gave it all my kicker zx750 could thow out and it took it with ease. These Subs are truly power hungry. I would love to hear this sub with 1000+ watts because im simply amazed at the output from this one 10" sub.

It could be the fact that this is in a camaro stealthbox which exaggerates the output, but this sub rattles the crap outta my car! I KNOW no one riding in my car would believe me if I told them I was running one 10" in half a foot enclousure.

A forum member from another forum just put an OEM10 in a stealth enclosure in his f-body, but powered it with an RSD1200.1 ... he loves it //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

Those subs really tempt me to go with two 10s in the future and save my trunk space rather than two 15s...

Does the PR really help out with the lows?

PRs are not magic; they just help when you need a small enclosure, large amount of port area, and a relatively low tuning frequency. That combination is very difficult to do due to an extremely long port length needed to get the desired tuning frequency with the needed port area. That is why TC recommends using a PR instead of a port (and to help sell some PRs of course). They don't want people complaining that the sub is boomy due to an enclosure that is too big and then they don't want people complaining about terrible output and SQ due to a port that is too small so that it will fit. Contrary to popular belief, decent port area is not just a function of enclosure volume but the sub you're using as well. This rule of 12-16 in^2 per cubic feet is pretty lame.
