good luck finding a decent artist to do it... all those lines must be perfect, and after 5 or 6 years they kinda move in together. looks like a a stringy box

Thats the problem I am having now. Im new to the area and dont know many people into tattoos down here so its tough to find a quality artist.

not to be mean... but "cheese" is kinda out of style. it's cool to tie in a little cheese with the center image, but the whole piece? wont see any good work come out of atlanta looking like that.

now... to finish the rest of the arm. i would do a very large design on the top od the forearm... no biomechanical. throw in some nice broken lower jaw skulls and a squid with a bunch of eyes

I think iam just gonna keep it simple and get my name, well actually its more like my nickname, but I have been called BG since birth and thats what everyone knows me as. I know alot of people dont like the idea of getting a name but oh well I kinda like it. I drew up a lil something in photoshop and I like the way it looks, thats all that matters i guess.

I used part of the budweiser logo for the crown lol. I like the way it looked. I am still messing around with the design, but I like the old english letters

actually, the crown would be the easiest part to do. well, for me. also, are you white? white folks don't run old english. dude, you can do something better than you're own name. get something that represents you. good artist and people that get good tattoos don't run letters on their skin.

when you look at a piece of art, do you see what the painting means written on the canvas? it's up to the viewer to figure out what it means and represents.

I saw my friend last night and he just got his last name put on his arm in old english and I thought it looked pretty good. I've always liked old english and I think it looks pretty cool. There really is nothing to represent me, I am a very boring person and do nothing extraordinary. This wont be a big tattoo, its going to be maybe 2.5" tall by whatever the width scales out to be. This will be my first tattoo, iam not much into tattoos so I am experimenting with this small one to see if it will change my mind and see if I want to go bigger and more elaborate.

I still got close to a month to figure out what exactly I will get, but I like the idea of old english as played out as it is.

I do agree with him that the lettering is retarded though. I know you might like it now, but lame tattoos like that always result in a coverup later on. Just go around and find a good artist in your area, and ask him to come up with something for you. Most good artists can come up with some good stuff just by knowing what you're basic interests are. I'm not fully against script and lettering, but at leas make it part of a bigger piece. Otherwise it'll look like something you just got when you turned 18 because you could. A tattoo design should excite you, there should be story behind it. Do NOT get a tattoo just to get one or because you made a deal with your girlfriend. This shit's permanent and you should really put a lot of thought into what you get.
