This is some work from Rich at UA here in Wisco.

This is as it is right now.....Still healing up. More color this comming Friday

Pretty traditional Japanese koi, lotus, and cherry blossums.....Drew it myself, and Rich modified it a bit to make it more tattooable for my arm.

And spl_guru, your work kinda scares me. It does look like really good work though.

but for a 3 hour cession i am usually there about 5 hours by the time we get done bullsh*tin and what not

Well I personally like my girl's tattoos. She has a few traditional small ones like a tribal scorpion on her foot, and an Eye of Horus (sp?) on the top of her back. Besides that she has a small moon on her ass, a much larger and very detailed moon and stars on her stomach (this looks funny to me now as she is 8 months pregnant and it is stretched out). She also has some Egyptian Hieroglyphics on her sides which is really cool since part of her family is Egyptian.

i will tell you this, tribals are way played out. don't get one. sun with a face, moon with a face, tazmanian devil , rebel flags, stars, cross's, and praying hands are gey....

again... NO TRIBALS!!!!

best thing to do is go online and check out your local shops.... pick the artist that fits your style. don't just walk in a shop and pick some flash off the wall, and don't settle for the tattoo artist that isn't busy at that time. it's always best to meet the tattoo artist first and tell him what your ideas are... then set up an appointment. never go to an artist that nobody knows or doesn't draw!

good luck finding a decent artist to do it... all those lines must be perfect, and after 5 or 6 years they kinda move in together. looks like a a stringy box
