Tapping into a remote on wire

I guess the question goes back to..Do you think the Enable brown wire in the diagram is an "OEM turn on wire"?
If it is then are you saying....enable wire to relay - relay back to OEM amp and relay out to processor. From processor remote out to new JL Amps remote turn on?
If the brown wire is a 12V signal for turn on then yes, that is correct. If it isn't, then one of the smart line out converters would be then sensible thing.

Apologies to both of you I was not able to get to page 2 of this thread until today...first time thats happened.

using a relay is a good idea.
do you know how?
Yes I do.

Thanks

Okay. Thanks

Why not tie into the ignition harness? You can run it off the acc wire.
Mostly for simplicity. I have to tap into the line outs from the amp anyway and the plug is just under the dash to the left of the steering column. I'm using a 9 wire cable anyway so I figured if i have the ninth wire there use it As a remote on for the processor. Then the amp can remote on from the processor ( those Ive looked at have that option).
