Tang Band 8" for Computer sub question

well hopefully the group buy goes thru with these lil guys, and i'll get a dayton 240w plate amp from pe.com, and a box from moe lester. but how would i hook all that up. im assuming i plug the amp into a wall socket and run speaker wires to the sub, but how do get a signal from the computer to the amp?

use those headphone jack to rca converters and plug 'em where applicable

you really can't do it that way unless you are powering your speakers seperately, or are using active filters on them. what I suggest that you do is get a 2.1 media amplifier. with that all that you need to do is supply the signal via rcas w/ a dual phono > 1/8 mic jack on the other end.
