Don't be lured in by unbelievably low prices - AVOID IKESOUND like the plague.

It simply is not worth it to buy from this company. Doing so is like playing russian roulette. They have no clue whatsoever how to run a business, provide support for their products, or to be timely when shipping items. The "lady" that apparently runs the place has no clue how to run it (obviously) and if it wasn't for their low prices, they would've been dead long ago.

There's no need for me to get into specifics because many of you have had experiences with this company or have heard stories. Some are good, MOST are bad. If your item is in stock and you counted your lucky stars the night before, you will probably get your item and the transaction will go smoothly. However, if your item is out of stock, which is usually the case with refurb items, you're in for a treat. Will Ikesound tell you that the item is out of stock like a trustworthy company would? Hell no, they will tell you that there's a "billing address discrepency" with your credit card to buy themselves a couple extra days. If that isn't enough, if you attempt to call them, a semi-retarded lady will explain that the item "hasn't come in from the distributors" or a line similar to that. That is assuming you can get a hold of them, which is a whole other story. She will explain that she will call you back, but i've never received this callback.

So here I am, almost two weeks after I hit "checkout", still no amp, no tracking number, not even a confirmation that they even have the **** thing at their warehouse. Great, just the company I want to order from again.

haha yeah ive talked to that ***** before, she like said ikesound 3 times and i couldnt understand her so i didnt say anything and then she hung up lol, i hate when i talk to ppl on the phone and i cant understand wtf they are saying, same with Fedex's customer support, and the guy at RE sounded funny but i couldnt understand him luckily

Soooo......call your credit card company and dispute the charge.

Wow mang, that sounds just like what happened to me, but a little different. I ordered a bunch of stuff off them. Subs, componet set, wiring kit. So everything comes in with in a week and a half. I open up the componets and the wiring kit and crossover and is all right, so I am excited and then go to open my subs up and they gave me the wrong model of the sub. I ordered 2 12" Pioneer Premier 300/4 spl subs. I get 2 12" Pioneer(not permier) 2004/2 subs. So I am like ok no biggie, I will call and get this straightned out. What a clusterfuc that was! Stupid lady I get barly knows how to speak english and is retarded to boot. I was like you sent me the wrong subs and model. She is like, oh yeah we where out of stock on the ones you wanted, so we gave you these ones. I am like WTF lady! So, she then proceeds to go on well its basically the same woofer.//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/eek.gif.771b7a90cf45cabdc554ff1121c21c4a.gif Ok now I am like thats it. So I tell her to refund my money on my cc and I am returning these subs and I will never again do bussiness with you again. I finish up telling her that I am highly pissed about this and the way you guys run a bussiness and oh by the way, maybe you should look into a english book once in a while, considering this is the USA!!

So I understand your story 100%. I hope that one day they either clean up there act or fall of into a black whole to never be found again.//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/mad.gif.c18f003ab0ef8a0d9c27ca78d77a6392.gif

You guys gotta check out crutchfield, if they have what you want and if you do not mind paying a little extra they are the way to go. They were supposed to ship out a home theater system I ordered. The told me it would be there buy the end of the week. I kept checking in and on Wensday they told me it hadnt shipped because of a snow storm and it wouldnt ship untill the thursday but they would upgrade me to overnight shipping for free. Do you know what it costs to ship a 120 pound oversized object accross the country? I checked with UPS and the cost was like $243.00. They upgraded me for free because they said they wanted me satisfied, i got my package by the end of the week as promised.

Just thought i would share that with you guys.

Considering i was ordering $1200+ worth of stuff from them next week sometime...... Im pretty glad i caught this thread cause it seems as if i would have been *ucked but i think ill hold off for a while and see if anything else happens....

well..i ordered an 1100d DEI amp from them last friday. I emailed them over christmas weekend asking them if I can cancel my order (since I saw they were selling the same amp for 10 dollars cheaper via eBay). No returned emails. I called tuesday asking if they had had shipped my order or recieved email. They said they should be recieving more 1100Ds the next day (wed) and should be shipped the same day or thursday...I got an email from them today asking me if I wanted to cancel my order because the 1100D amps aren't in stock. They said they re-ordered today and possibly recieve them right after new years (they aren't sure). Sooo I asked if they had teh 1500D DEI amp and they said they have it in stock. Question is do I want to spend an extra 15 bucks to get a better amp now? (I'll be putting in one 12" IDMAX 2 ohm DVC to get a 1 ohm load). Hmmmmm...but that's my experience for you...

By the way...there was a series of emails today that we exchanged back and forth when I asked about their stock (like Instant Messaging) so I guess they were sitting at the computer answering emails.
