Taking the Sound Deadening Plunge

Okay.

So I just got my taxes back and have a little bit left over to go ahead and try to deaden my car. I want as quiet as possible and will probably be using this build as a model:

This guy is experienced in car audio, I.. Not so much. I'm still working on my first ever build and trying to perfect my sound. Road noise and vibrations have become a big problem recently and I'm wanting to clean that up a bit, well, a lot. I want to go ahead and do my doors, floor, dash, roof, and trunk and need to know what materials I'll need and roughly how much.

I'm Driving a 2014 Kia Optima

I want to do:

Doors

Trunk

Roof

Floor

Dash

What Brands should I look at?

Whats going to be the highest quality "affordable" products?

I'd like to start ordering products as soon as possible. Probably want to order what I can from Amazon (Amazon Prime member) but I can go elsewhere. I probably wont be installing until I get a few nice warm days in the midwest (Iowa) so I got a few months to gather everything I need but would like to get as much of the financial aspect out of the way as soon as possible.

Thanks all.

around 2 or so boxes of these CLD tiles, use smart coverage vs 100% coverage to save on some costs.

Amazon.com : Stinger RKX36B Roadkill Expert Series Sound Damping Material Bulk Pack : Automotive Soundproofing Kits : Car Electronics

Mass loaded vinyl substitute that KHA uses himself. maybe 5 or 6, you can always return it back to HD if you dont use the extras.

4 ft. x 8 ft. Acoustical Barrier-DB348X96BX - The Home Depot

Whatever brand you get make sure you clean the surface your applying to and get a roller will make application a lot easier.

Okay,

So right now in my amazon cart I have:

Stinger RKROLLER2 Roadkill Series Damping Materials Extra-Wide Urethane Application Roller

(2) Dynamat 13100 1-1/2" Wide and 30' Long DynaTape Sound Deadener

(2) Stinger RKX36B Roadkill Expert Series Sound Damping Material Bulk Pack

and over at HD I have:

(6) 4 ft. x 8 ft. Acoustical Barrier

My local HD does not carry this so I'm not sure if I'll be able to return. So if I have extras and can't I'm sure I'll find another use for it.

Once I get the okay on this I'm gonna go ahead and order it.

Thanks for the help guys and let me know if you can think of anything else I'm going to need. I'm also going to go through KHA's build again and see if I missed anything.
