taking out my factory HU Qyuestion!

I cant find my keys to do it... the silver bent thingies that make it really easy to do... and I dont want to drive down to the store.......... Does anyone know any ways to do it without the keys like little tricks or anything?

If you mean allen wrenches, then you might want to pick some up. Theyre useful in a lot of situations, not just car audio.

Once you have all the screws removed it should just slide out...

the coat hanger method seems to not be working... anyother methods...? For some reason I stick the hanger in and nothing...

Just cut the coat hangers, gotta be strong ones, put them in, and push towards the center and pull out.

Sometimes its a bit contankerous. I have used the coat hangers more times than I can count. Just keep at it. Like Party said, make sure you use strong coat hangers.

Its really easy with the clothes hanger... Stick em' in and push towards the center of the unit.. Then pull out...

Do you even know what way you should be pushing or pulling the inserts or "holies"? keep trying, on my deck i used a real skinny flathead screwdriver and it slipped right out...
