Taking out Headunit

I've heard its extremly easy to take out your after stock head unit. I have a JVC in a ford expidition. I'm pretty good at figuring things out, but no experience in this. ANy suggestions on how i could do this?

JVC head units use a side-latching mechanism to secure the head unit in the cage. You can release the latches by using the JVC keys, which are basically flat strips of metal about 3" long and 1/4" wide. Slide them in on both sides, between the head unit and the mounting cage. Pioneer and several other manufacturers use very similar keys.
