This is my first time applying this stuff, I put two layers on the large areas, as far as the part of the door where the door panel holds onto, should I apply it on the front of it, or behind it? (On this skin, should I apply it closest to the door panel?)

apply it everywhere you can, just make sure you get it stuck down really nice and if dont put it over spots that need the little clippy things to go in for your doorpanels.

so yes, put it on the whole 'inner face' of the second picture where you have not put it on yet. just be careful as you do it.

WHAT A PAIN IN THE *** THIS IS!

I think I'm goina have to order more...

I just did it because I was told I will have more mid-bass and less rattles.

I have a Mustang also, the doors look so much easier to deal with, not to mention you don't have 11 years of shit to peel off them.

Its not going to help road noise all that much. Sound deadening products like those (Dynamat and such) is meant to keep car's sheet metal from resonating more than anything.

You need some sort of sound absorbing material like foam to keep road noise out.

But good job so far, thats a good job applying behind the inner skin, its always hard to apply back there.

No no no, this is my Integra I'm doing sound work to, my Mustang is very bare bones, one seat, 4 stock (non-mach) speakers/system, shit like that. I have enough already to work on with that cars engine, suspension, and drivetrain.

I'VE GOT to get a new Acura emblem, some ricer *** owned it last.

i need a weekend or something so i can take my doors off, gut them, and truly deaden/dampen them (including the egg crate shit), and do a good job. also fix the passenger door panel cuz it won't snap back on at the very bottom, so when you open the door, the door panel catches. (covered door panel holes with deadener..big no no). //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif

I finished my drivers side and reinstalled my Alpine X stuff, put the door panel back on and daaaaaamn, just that one side I can already hear so much of a difference. I ran out of damplifier for the passanger side (I need about 2sq feet to friggin finish it) so I'll end up ordering a little more. But in the mean time, I can start putting that in, I can already tell this is going to be worth it though. I'm glad I went ahead with 2 layers instead of one.

By the way, for future reference for anybody else, I DID end up using all 40sq feet in the two doors of my honda, if you can be a little more conservative, 40 would be perfect.
