table saw

does anyone in FLA have a table saw (hopefully around the orlando area) me and my father tried using a skill saw but well umm....no skill. is there a way to keep these things dead str8 or does it take skill to do that. most of my boards will work....i HOPE they will. but like 3 cuts were way off and not worth sanding down a little to smooth out. HELP...is there maybe a store that could cut exact measurements, like a carpentery store?

get a circular saw and a T square. i had the same prob with my table saw.

so now im gonna just get a circular saw.

use the T square as a guide for the saw fence and cut against it.

it will be straight as long as the wood is flat on the bottom

um, im trying to FIND a table saw to use, and u were using a skill saw (circle blade, hand held? and used what for a straight cut?)

circular saw with a T square. use the T square as your fence and run the saw edge against it for a straight cut. you will need saw horses or something of that sort.

had better luck with a level. and use some nice clamps to hold it in place at each end and there ya go

at home depot they got the same sort of thing for 15 $ long piece of metal and they come with clamps i think they are called saw guides

my thing is, lol, your gunna think im crazy, but even if i use a leveler with clamps, the line is straight but its angled....i cant seem to make a 90 degree cut.

make sure your saw isn't angled the plate should be at 0 if it is and it is still cutting angled get a new saw

no, not that kinda angle, like it will be a perfect cut but if u look at it from the top it looks like..................................\ just not that horrible lol.

A larger blade saw will make straighter cuts......"straighter"...lol
