Table saw

i wouldn't think so. its not so much the saw that's important, but the fence. a fence doesn't need to be accurate, you can always measure the distance between the blade and the fence with a tape, but if its not square ur fukked. it doesnt take much to cut mdf, but if you're building boxes accuracy is a must. and for 40-50 dollars i would question the accuracy.

well i would make the measurements myself and draw a line... i wouldnt go by the saw's measurements.

How would i make a fence for it? With just the table saw, i would only be able to make 10" wide cuts, correct?

Im just trying to get straighter cuts than i do with my 14.4v dewalt saw

take a piece of 1/2 ply. secure it to the table top. turn on the saw and raise it thru the plywood. Then make measurements from the blade to point X. Make sure its square. I put a straight piece of say 4" wide scrap against the blade, and make a line. Then make all measurements off the line. For a fence, the same 4" scrap screwed to the plywood. You can make cuts up to 46" wide.
