table saw...table..build log

not sure if anyones mentioned this but lowes 2 free cuts + .25 cuts is my new savior...

don't matter if two cuts are off by 1/8 inch, if you plan things right, its fine...

instead of building a table i screwed a 2x4 to my wall to let mdf ride on ... its the same height as my table saw... just did this yesterday when i hung my shelves.. works pretty well.. im going to sand it down to make it super smooth.. may even through a piece of plexi over it
You're real close to what I sketched up (on paper) for mine. Mine will hinge and slide at the wall so I can fold it up out of the way.

I bought some of these for my infeed, outfeed, and side to help me manage the 4x8 sheets:

Not to post ***** but....

If I were you, before I put plexi on my saw I would look into some plastic cutting board material. I think its called UHMW. Your boards would glide like butter over that stuff.

those bearings look like they would help a lot...can you get them at home depot or other building stores?
Not sure. I bought mine from ebay. I know Grainger sells them but they are like 3 bucks a piece but you don't need many at all. One every square foot should suffice.

I got the idea here:

http://www.amazon.com/Ezee-Feed-Mfg-W-0010-Infeed-System/dp/B000GBNNKW/ref=sr_1_1/102-1701964-6955334?ie=UTF8&s=hi&qid=1174010796&sr=1-1

But at that price I'll build my own. Notice the long roller on the side so you can lay your sheet against the table and then "roll" it on top. Slick idea IMHO. Should make wrestling 4x8 sheets much easier.

took me a while to actually get some more work done on it, but i finally hinged the side extension, and cut some support legs. basically to put them on, i screw in the three screws and they are solid. i could hinge them on there i suppose but for the few seconds it takes to do this...its not really worth it

Before legs are attached

And after legs are attached
