which craftsman saw are you using?I can't complain about my Craftsman. Added the router table leaf and have used both extensively with excellent results. Worksite saws are OK if you need the portability, but a big saw with a belt drive and a nice cast iron table is worth the money. Spend the money and get a good saw once or spend less multiple times when you realize that you need something else.
30 is sufficent in most cases, there have been some instances that with a 52" Unifence I would have wasted quite a bit less wood. I am thinking about getting one for the shop to add on (they run about $250)30" is not enough? Got buy some rollers.
This saw is awesome. I just picked one up last month. Has a 31" rip capacity and has a ton of accessories available for it. Makes great cuts. As another poster mentioned, check out BT3central.com. There is a ton of info on it.I recommend a Ryobi BT3100.It's $300 at home depot with a $50 mail in rebate.
That's what I personally use, beautiful cuts. And it can handly large rip cuts.2 year warranty.
rollers wont make your rip capacity any wider.30" is not enough? Got buy some rollers.
