your amp will barely do a 1000watts. for 500 yes you could get a good 18 but why are you so set on using 18's?

ive been offered really good deals on there subs from a guy and i refuse to buy them for that exact reason

I only did a 151.2 - using two sundown 3000's strapped at .5

Also - you're planning to run a sealed box, I would assume? No way two ported 18's are going into your trunk.

Also - - - look into buying Mach5 Audio MJ18M's, those would be great for what you want. Not a whole lot of airspace requirements for an 18" woofer, get relatively loud, sound good...cheap

Yea, sorry but that is 100% ****. 1000rms out of it is on teh high end of what you would get. Seriously, I would learn about what you are doing before you go out and spend a lot of money. You will realize that caps are a waste of money, Pyramid is complete junk and that $300 doesn't get you much.

My amp does 4000 will they definately blow if I used two of them or should the capacitors monotize the power enough that they will reach full potential?

i recently came across 3 T3 tss woofers and wanted to just freshen them up after getting them used off a forum.

well i was informed that parts werent available for my current drivers, which was ok to me as they are an 07 model, but then i was told they could be upgraded to the newer models...sweet right...no, i have to send all three of my 50 pound subs to them for them to do it and then pay to get all three sent back to me.

i wanted to just change the baskets and recone them myself using thier parts and id pay any parts cost....welli guess i have to send back my other parts or theres a "core charge"

the core charge thing was told to me by another person not of T3...so im not for sure thats a given. but if it is, i'll just have Fi create me some recones and use regular ol 12 spoke baskets. since it doesnt seem they want to help me out with thier woofers.

I tried to buy a basket. JD said no. All I wanted was a used basket...they even offered one FS in someone elses thread. That pretty much made them a d-bag in my book.
