T3 audio V good business practices?

look at most smaller audio companies, none of them support outside internet sales, nor should they. the only reason why anyoner likes it, is because they buy stuff dirt cheap. Try supporting your local shop, buy from an authorized dealer. What JD said is actually in most if not all warranty books (except the garbage part). He makes a great product, they records prove it.
Has nothing to do with this //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/rolleyes.gif.c1fef805e9d1464d377451cd5bc18bfb.gif

Fact is, Demuth is getting his panties in a bundle beacause his subs arent "flying out" like they used to

And getting things cheaper is bad how? When I can get the same product at a quarter of the price most of the time I'm going to do it.

You're missing the point. In his original post where he talked about throwing away subs, he made no indication about stolen equipment.

Hell, in the link he posted himself, there was no definite indication of stolen property.

He expects us to realize that he's talking about stolen equipment, when no one has any inkling that's what he's talking about...either he thinks we are all mindreaders, or he displayed a clear lack of common sense/logic.

Either way, as a business owner, it's pretty shitty to publicly say you'll throw away people's equipment if it wasn't purchased by an authorized dealer.

He is lying. That is the problem.

um does anybody care that the stuff was stolen?

if some1 stole something from me and and then sold it to some1 at a too good to be true price..the person who bought it is just as guilty as the person who stole it...so yea i dont blame him for saying if that sub comes back to him for a repairs..he going to trash it....personally if it was me..i wouldnt throw it in the trash...i would raffle it off...

If I were a business owner, and something came back to me that I found to be stolen, and I KNEW whom it was stolen from, I'd contact the person that sent it to me, notify them that it is stolen, and take the proper legal action going forward, hoping that it will end up back to its rightful owner, instead of simply throwing it in the trash and assuming they'll eventually find out that what they sent in was thrown away.

But, that's just me.

Did you two guys miss the part where he thought so much of his original post that he went back and deleted the text? Or, more importantly, when he saw that someone had already quoted his post he then said that they had altered the content of the post?

When is something too good to be true and when is it a good deal?

We better define this now before more people do the wrong thing by buying equipment at good prices.

Thanx-- saved me the typing

Use some common sense.

You should always contact the manufacturer and ask them what dealer price and/or cost of said item are, just to make sure you're not getting too good of a deal.

i read his orignal post when he posted it, and yes the trash part was over board, but then ontop of it he may be a business owner, but he is also human, and he gave something to someone to run in their car and the stuff got stolen , and it wasnt just 2 or 4 subs it a a shit load of subs that cost alot of money rather it be his cost or ours, and he was rather upset which i would be as well, i had amps stolen last week and i was in the same state of screw it if i cant say it rite im still saying what im thinking to hope to get a point across, he made a mistake on how he did his orignal thread I DO AGREE but then I DO AGREE with him on being upset on the things geting stolen and then posted here.. he should have made his post clear what he was talking about but he didnt , but NOW everyone and even the poor people without a pc know what went down and know the whole story , so why is it still being draged out?

I'm sorry to hear that your things were stolen, and I'd probably be just like you if I had things stolen as well.

This isn't dragging on simply from his initial post. If he had came in here and said, "Sorry about that, my post was pertaining to some stolen equipment, and I got a little to frustrated with the situation," then this thread would have ended 15 pages ago.

However, he came in and claimed that someone edited his original post, which was a straight-out lie. If he had been truthful from the get-go, we wouldn't be here right now.

I don't even really care that he said he'd throw it in the trash. Obviously he can be an idiot with his business if he wants to.

But if there was nothing wrong with his first post (like he says), why did he edit it?

When it was quoted, where was it changed? (Hint: it wasn't!)

Where are all these threads where people are getting screwed (for upwards of $2000) on CA.com buying T3 products?

And why is he calling everyone else a liar?
