ok this is what ia have right now

a jl e4300 440 wat speaker amp

a jl500/1v2 sub amp

a jl 10w6v2 sub in a stealth box just 1 for now

jl tr650-CSi speakers

jl tr400-CXi speakers

clarion dxv945mp deck

my question i am installing a sub amp and a speaker amp both jl and both requireing 4 ga but not able to handle3 any higher if they both need 4 ga should i come off the battery with 4 ga or should i go down say 0/1 into a distrobution block im also thinking of adding a second sub depending on how it sounds

let me know if you think 2 400 watt subs would be over kill for a gmc extended cab its diesel so its really loud

plan ahead and run the 0/1 the first time if you have the money for the wire.

Bass always leaves you wanting more. Before you know it, you'll have a wall of 15's.

But seriously... it's all personal preference.

ok got another question i ran the 0 gauge thru the fire wall and got it to my setup done with that power work fine gotta finish a big three under hood though

any ways i put my jl 6.5 imch in the doors and the tweeters right above them like they are in the stock setup

now i've heard from a few people say that tweeters are best suited on the front corner pillar is this true or no

and also i have second set of tweeters not as good there infinity reference ok should i install both one below one above let me know how it will sound the best and if i put um on the pillars what hight should they be at (pick up truck)

sound dampening how much do you need and whats the best brand to go with as far as cost and quality the only one i even know of is dynamat but its expensive

my sub wich is under a rear bench seat do i need to put it on tthe bottom of the bench seat / floor / back wall of cab were box is specifically deisgned for sub and is surrounded by carpet on all sides

any suggestions would be great
