what is a good AMP to power this system. IM thinking of 1 amp to power the whole system.

this is the system:

Infinity components (1) 35rms-70peak,4ohms

Subs - Alpine SWR12 (1) 100-300rms-1000peak dvc@2ohm

or

ALPINE SWS or SWE 12 inch at 2ohm or 4 ohms 50-200rms-600 peak.

as you can see this system is not for breaking any SPL or SQL records this is just to fill a females system. I am looking for a nice AMP that can power this system - front speakers and (1) sub in sealed enclosure.

the system will only have 1 SUB!

i was thinking of USX4080. but i dont know if it will hold! my concern is the RMS needs. hence the posting of its SPECIFIC RMS NEEDS. thats why im asking for the RIGHT AMP! and this is not for SPL nor SQL just a daily system, nothing to beat.

You didn't give any idea of what your budget is...so, let's go crazy:

Precision Power PCX-480. 80 watts per channel RMS for left and right, 320 mono. Crossovers and all, really decent sounding amp.

Zapco Studio 204. 50 watts per channel, 200 mono...but alas...no crossovers

Zapco Z250C4-SL. 30 watts per channel, 120 mono, crossovers but maybe light on power...I heard one with a basic system that sounded great!

or about a dozen other models from Alpine, Rockford, you-name-it.
