Im starting fresh and car has no stereo equipment at all, i have about 1000 in cash. Can i actually start a good system that sounds real good? quality highs as well as subs? Im not into the overpriced jl audio or kicker brands but something that sounds as good as those but can be used daily or abused. I am also looking to buy a nice deck too, if anything ill spend the money to get nice deck and nice component speakers interior wise and save up for subs and amps. Any advice? i dont know if you knew this already the impala is pretty roomy so have that in mind....

I have been looking for a sundown dealer around here, seems people be like huh? sundown? So back to subject at hand here advice on what would be a good set up for my impy

You can run all Sundown subs and amps, too bad they don't make speakers or a headunit. I want a non-touchscreen headunit that's designed with audio performance/adjustability as 1st priority but still cost less than $400. After having a touchscreen I realized that I like buttons and knobs better.

check out bad4health... he used to have one 18" BTL that tore his caprice to pieces. now has beyma 6.5's up front in his Imp, louder than anything I've heard. 6.5's up front and one ****** sub is all you need.
