i have 3 fosgate hx2 12's on da way. but i was thinkin. with such a powerful system am i going to need another alternator or something. i mean im not car audio smart, but i kno thats alot of power and i didnt wanna mess up my car or nothing. so let me kno wha to do for a really powerful system

well since u said "really powerful" i'm gonna assume u're gonna be running amp(s) with about 1500 watts total...

get your alternator rewound and get a cap. if need be.

get yor alternator rewound if its less than 100 and then just get a bigger battery....u should be ok. put it this way - 1 Supra, 4 12inch Solobarics, 1 ZR1000, 1 RF 800.2, 1 other amp, standard alt+upgraded batt = only dies when playing without engine on for over 20mins.
