The spare tire enclosure should be plenty thick.

Go to this site:

http://www.bcae1.com

Read the entire thing. You will learn a great deal. Also spend a couple weeks just reading threads on here where people ask questions that you also don't know the answer to. Learn. You are in a position right now that you do not know the basics to installing car audio. Take a break and educate before you wreck your equipment and/or your car.

Just my personal opinion.

And you can say this because you have seen and tested every single spare tire well in every car...different cars' tire wells' will have different thicknesses //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/fyi.gif.9f1f679348da7204ce960cfc74bca8e0.gif

by any chance when u put ur deck in ur car ur not mashing the rca wires are u? i know sumone had that problem on here they tried everything but it turned out once there deck got inserted it would push all the way back into the dash and leave little room behind it for the rca cables and mash them up, i know i have little room in my car and its something i have to watch out for..just a thought.

this thread hurts my head.

75 dollar amp, no good grounds, god knows what kinda wiring job between battery and headunit, all the way to the amp. Jesus.

start over.

Check all your wiring from the batt to amp, make sure rca and power wire not next to each other, check all your grounds, also check your wires for little nicks and cuts that could be grounding your amp.

Aloha
