How does the new SX compare in SPl against lets say the SeXXX and the XXX

I have a feeling the SX is probably in between the HC and the XXX in SPL and about the same SQ as the HC. Does that make sense?

Yeah, it's pretty broad, but you gotta figure, that sounds like the goal they were trying to achieve.

You know the only thing I don't like about RE is their lack of posted info on stuff...

But they more than make up for it in customer service... If you call or e-mail them they are really helpfull..

Did some testing today in my car. Please remember... my car is NOT an spl vehicle. There is a 16ft wall in it. The tuning is 33hz. Every burp was done at 38hz. All testing was done on am Audiocontrol SPL meter.

Amplifiers used:

(2) RE 36.1 Strapped

RESULTS:

(2) SE 15's dual 2ohm - 153.1

(2) SEXXX 15's dual 2 ohm - 154.3

(2) SX 15's dual 2 ohm - 155.5

(2) XXX 15's dual 2 ohm - 154.2

(2) MT 15's dual 2 ohm - 156.4

I like the way the old school (hehe) RE's look in people's trunks. When you got two of them they look, like your trunk has eyes and is looking at you. The new ones kinda do it do but not as much. It probably cooler when they are moving.
