SX Ported Box

Sorry for starting so many new threads but no one replied to my questions about a ported box for a 15" SX. (maybe because it was in the sub. section) Anyway.....i decided i am gonna go with a SX and give re a shot. But i have never built a ported box and need some help! i dont have much room to work with but here are the dimensions i have....(18" w x 20" h x 16" d) i dont even know if thats enough room to build a ported box...but then again i dont know much about the SX. I can always make the box a little bigger...it will just have to be very odd shaped. I guess all im really trying to figure out is the internal volume for the Sx, size of the port, and what the port should be tuned too...from there im sure i can make it fit.

Id go with anywhere from 3.5-7 cubes with it. Tune it to what your looking for w/ ~60-80sq" of port.

what are you looking for spl / sq sql ?

what kind of music do you listen to is it goign in a trunk or a cabin

all of this determines what size tuning and stuff you need

Thats kinda like my box. but the Sub is on top in the back. And my port is in front facing my deck. IT sux now. Its cold out and it blows cold air on my feet.
