Switching Subs

I'd like to put a switch inline between the output of my amp and the terminals of my subs. How much current is the switch going to have to be rated for?

I have an SPST Rocker rated 10A @ 125VAC or 6A @ 250VAC. Will it be able to handle the current?

it's a trick with the Xenon x600.1 amp I have to bypass the Xe.load and get full 2 ohm power. All you have to do is swith the amp on with the subs disconnected, and then connect the subs. It can be done automatically with a relay, or I could do it super manually by unhooking the subs, but I was hoping for something inbetween (I don't have the relay on hand, but I do have a switch or two lying around).
