Hey Ed, what color did you paint that panel on the door?

Looks like it matches the dash...does it?

I need to re-paint my bezel to match the rest of the dash.

Oh cool, there are a bunch of nice guys on there. They dont get much into extreme customizing or audio, but they're cool

I used metallic medium/dark gray on the panel. It nearly perfectly matches the color of the trim piece on the door that was just under that armrest panel. The dash is the same shade of gray but a flat color and non metallic

Oh you were at one of the U.S. Audio shows? I think I used those little boxes at one show. I had 4) 8". I couldnt get the MAs over 143 dB so I got rid of em.
What car did you have?

I the earlier shows I had the tan explorer, then later brought the black civic hatch. Street A, which meant I ended up in the finals against Terry Brocks and got railed by his 157.1 + with a single amp and DD9910's.

Ha, yeah I remember. And then later in the year Terry was doing about 158.5s. He will be coming to Carlisle tomorrow as a spectator but says he wont do dB Drag anymore.

The RazorLite product is the coolest form of illumination you can buy.

We use it on every show vehicle we build and dealing with Ed has been fantastic.

If I compete, this season or next, it probably won't be street A. We, (SSA) do not plan on having 10's that can soak up that much power. So maybe street C for fun, but do not have a large enough car to really do well in that class.

Gonna wall it up in a few weeks. I am working on all new door panels with 3 sets of 6.5" components. I will be customizing the dash to light up. The running boards will light up. Front seat Head rests will light up.

I wanna do some motorization, just not sure if I will do it yet or not.

No more explorer?

Well, I still have it, but not sure I want to spend the money to repair the ***** leak. Not to mention a log list of other small things that need repair. I might try to find another SPL'er that will give it a good home. It has a long history and lots of exhaust/suspension/engine bolt on's.
