okay I know most people want to see pics... //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/uhoh.gif.c07307dd22ee7e63e22fc8e9c614d1fd.gif no pics just thoughts.

I have a Ramcharger suv has a small 55" wide by about 42" deep bed area.

I want to mount 4 subs and an amp.

my idea is U shaped. put 2 12" subs out close to tailgate aimed down, and 2 10" subs near corners of back seats aimed up, and amp in the middle. All subs would have seperate compartments and ports, would be pushing, if I get the subs I want, approx. 1800 rms. (400 rms for each 10" and 500 for each 12")

I was figuring on 1 1200watt - 1600 watt amp. and one cap?

Any suggetions would be appreciated.

edited:::eek:kay Moe. why most of the compatetion cars i see have different sizes in them. I have seen some with all the same size and some with 2 different sizes and a few with 3 different sizes.

55" is from inside fender to inside fender... not inside wheel well to inside wheel well.

just inside wheel wells is approx. 42"

and by small I ment short compaired to a suburban..lol

box design would work fine, don't mix sub sizes. You would need someone a lot more intelligent than me to explain why, but i know from experince it is not a good thing. acoustics are very touchy, also with well over 1000 watts rms have you thought about upgrading your electical system??
