I would have gotten a ps3 if all my friends hadn't already gotten a 360. I just fixed mine yesterday because of the E74 message.

Everyone I know has had a problem. I still wouldn't buy the PS3 over the 360 though. The PS3 is a giant marketing **** up on SONY's part. 50 bucks a year for online isn't bad when you consider how seamless and quick it is, with the party system and multiple chat channels.
Not to bash the PS3 entirely, but as a gaming machine, it's pretty bad.

360 online is over rated. By the time Im able to find and join a match in Halo, GOW2, or COD4 I would have been able to play 2-3 matches in COD4 on PS3. Not to mention there are to many kids on 360 crying about how you cheat after you destory them in a match. I still prefer the 360 because of the ability to play videos and mp3s on my PC and the fact you can flash it and play backups for in terms of online I will stick with the PS3 until they do something about all the issues with those games. And no Im not the only one with these problems you can search any 360 gaming forum and finds hundreds of threads about not being able to find matches or taking 15-20 minutes just to get on setup.
Are you Fvcking on crack?? Halo3 and COD4 on XBOX are the quickest things out there, finds games in seconds. PS3 is where the 5+ minute waits are
the other night on jimmy fallon they had an xbox guy on there and they are developing a controller-less gameplay. similar to the wii but the system reads your movements. it was pretty cool.
x2 ive never had a problem finding games online with 360. nba live, maybe at like 3am it takes a few minutes but with madden and halo a few seconds.

Who pays $50 for live? If you look they can be had for 35 tops. Live still is better than PSN. Everytime I seem to turn on my PS3 there is a 16mb update that is needed. IT WAS JUST ON THE NIGHT BEFORE....and takes forever here. I can't get in a GOW2 game on live, though I think it is cause where I am located.
( I pay 7 bucks a month. Set it up one time when I first got it and just never went and bought the prepaid year subscription.

They lock in exclusive deals for the games. If they didn't, they wouldn't have so many people willing to get their xbox fixed or replaced.

Never had/have a problem with either my elite or my 360pro. And I'll give that guy on thing Halo does take a bit to find matches but COD any of them. I dont think you have played that game to much. Its soo fast to find matches. I play COD4 alot now. And Im always playing and never wait to find a match.
To that PC dribble. What you left out. Is its way easyer for ppl to CHEAT on the PC games then xbox or sony. I hear about it all the time for world of war craft morons. Talk about how they cheat and its sooo easy. And the Key board thing is soo better then a controller. You're an idiot. Don't get offended, you play on a system intended for idiots who want a plug and play experience without having to know anything.
Way easier to cheat, true. So you play on servers that have good admins who are on frequently. Also, you do realize that if you don't like playing with a keyboard and mouse, you can plug in a controller, right ? Besides that, you talk about playing games like Halo and COD then imply a controller is better than a keyboard and mouse ? LOL, you'd get destroyed in any online FPS on a PC if you used a controller and they used KBs and mice. Console systems literally have nothing on PC games as far as graphics go. Even a midrange gaming computer is far more capable than the XBOX 360 these days. Does the XBOX 360 have anti-aliasing ? Anisotropic filtering ? Advanced physics processing ? Hell, even the resolution on the 360 games is generally limited to 720p, which would be considered LOW resolution for PC gamers. There are tons of other graphics technologies that modern graphics cards are capable of that the current consoles are not. Also, you can hook your PC up to your HDTV as well, so that's moot.
