Is it possible to turn a desktop into a laptop?

I want to take apart my old desk top, take out the harddrive, mobo, power supply, maybe some of the drives. Take all the cases off of them and make a sleek notebook casing for all the components out of fiberglass. Put some fans in there so nothing overheats.

Get a lcd screen and attach it with something.

Is this possible? Or am i missing something?

ha, it has a 1 ghz pent 3 processor. 126 or something mb ram.
