Im very keen on building a lithium battery for my car audio but I have questions before I begin. I am wondering what would be ideal for my situation. I am trying to run 3k rms full tilt with no voltage issues on a stock alternator, I believe its 100-120 amp. The superbeast is 8ah cells in a 12v configuration totalling 96ah LiFePo or these prismatic LTO 2.3v 20 ah cells. Could I run the LTO on my stock alt? If so, how many should I get and what would my total aH be? Do the ah literally double per cell or per series?

I have this one as well and it has been very useful. Would recommend if you need a versatile battery charger/small power supply.

That’s a 6s balancer but will still work with 4s as long as the last 2 positives are not used.

14.6 is max charge for headway. 3.65 volts per cell. There should not be any voltage drop from your alternator wiring to battery so 14.8 is too high.
