super quick question.

should i use 2 4" flared ports or one large slot port

the port area for 2 4" ports is 25.1 sq in.

and for the large slot port it is 32 sq in.

which will reduce port noise better? which will be louder?

this is for a type r 12 2.8 net

Neither will have an output advantage...if properly done.

Slot ports generally are harder to get a lot of port noise from...but don't take that to mean they won't make noise if improperly built.
