wasn't really asking for information about a soundbar and this is a car audio forum so you can ask/answer yr home audio stuff at some home audio forums.Soundbar Overview
Pros:
Easy installation and connectivity
Minimal wires
Modern design
Great for small-medium living spaces
Excellent virtual sound, which simulates the surround sound experience
Cons:
May need to buy separate subwoofer (although many Klipsch systems include a sub, such as our HD Theater SB 3, R-10B Soundbar and R-20B Soundbar)
The placement of the soundbar creates specific “sweet spots” in your listening experience
Does not produce complete surround sound, especially in larger living environments
Surround Sound System Overview
Pros:
Full range surround sound
Able to place speakers in multiple stations for optimal acoustics
Maximum bass
Audiophile theater system presentation
Cons:
Most quality systems require running wires from the receiver to each individual speaker

The cone area difference is about 10% -- as far as effect purely by cone area that is about 0.3 dB difference.Really starting too look at the Sundown zv4 15" or 18" however, with that huge surround does it not cut down the cone area a lot? never seen any subwoofer that has this big surround so.. it has to be a reason why no one else are doing like sundown? or is the sundown way the right way?
What are the cons and pros for these kind of woofers and why should or shouldn't i go for these kind of woofers?
Really been messing up my mind and i was curious what you guys would have too say.
Okey! Thanks alot. will be checking that out for sure! The cone area difference is about 10% -- as far as effect purely by cone area that is about 0.3 dB difference.
We use the Mega-Roll surrounds for linearity across a huge range of excursion -- you can read some more about that here :

Alternatively we have a more traditional surround we call either "Standard Roll" or "SPL Roll" -- which offers a more "normal" suspension curve, lower mass, and more cone area.
Great! //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif just the sub i was looking for.. The only problem is that there is only 1 "dealer" (more like importer) that sells Sundowns in norway and it takes 10-12 weeks to build and to shipp it here to norway.. Haha but still worth it!! Havent seen anyone with Sundowns here so Sundowns stand out at least here! HahaWith the X and Z4's, there is less "artificial" top end, so it will sound like it is lacking on the higher frequencies and very bottom heavy (if you're comparing it to "traditional" subs).
You can get a bit more higher frequency reponse with ported box tuning, but I had my X-10 mounted in IB. My mid's didn't fill low enough
