got it.. what is a good size batt and brand to replace the one under the hood? seen alot of optima red tops used

change of plans.. one of my subs was sent to the people i bought it from to get reconed bc it was under warranty, but all they have are dual 4 ohm voice coils so they are going to send me two new dual 4 ohms for both my subs.. even tho one sub doesnt need it now i got two like new subs.. question is.. should i just run a saz-3000d to them? Since i can wire em to 1 ohm now

Ehh You dont need an HO alt. I ran 2 1500ds off stock alt 1 kinetik 1400 under the hood and a 2400 in the rear. Dropped right around 11.8-12.2 full tilt.Which wont put any strain on those amps if wired to 1ohm each.

im proly going to run only 1 3000d tho but i would think 1 3000 would be less strain than 2 1500s.. Is that right?
